Main information

The town name of Badolatosa in Seville , came from the Latin voice Vadus latus (wide ford) placed near Estepa through which Caesar crossed the river after the battle of Munda against Pompey. It seems that it could also come from the voice ‘Badolatonsa’ (Wet Back), from the time of the Arab domination of the peninsula.
