Main information
The area surrounding Lora de Estepa in Seville has been inhabited by humans since the Paleolithic times. Local caves were used as tombs during the Copper Age and later Tartessos and Iberian cultures settled in the region. The area was eventually conquered and colonized by Romans.
Fiestas
- Traditionally the ‘Fair of the tapa’ – celebrated in the middle of summer where the neighbors prepare typical foods of the area.
- Feria of San Miguel Arcangel – Which takes place at the end of September.
- Romeria de San Marcos – It takes place on the 25th of April and it’s a day to enjoy in the countryside with family and friends.
