Main information

Castil de Campos in Cordoba is an inland town located in an area of gentle hills and surrounded by olive groves. It opens on the north and northeast, one of the most fertile valleys in the area, which ends in the river or stream Caicena. Castil de Campos sits on the northern slope of the Rowan Tower, about 700 metres from where on clear days you can see a splendid and extensive view. At this Almedinilla road gives way to higher mountains in the provinces of Jaen and Granada.

The House Museum of Castil de Campos houses a permanent exhibition of an ethnographic nature and is owned by the Cultural Association “Friends of the House-Museum of arts and popular customs of Castil de Campos”. It is located in Priego de Cordoba, in the district of the same name, Castil de Campos. The continent and content complement each other and most of the exhibited pieces are situated in their context and impregnated with the experiences of yesteryear.
