Priego de Cordoba is a town found on the Ruta del Califato. It is called “City of the water” because of the many springs and “Jewel of the Baroque Native of Cordoba” for the multitude of its baroque-style constructions. It has been referred to as “the lock and key to the Kingdom of Granada”.
The town has a population of over 22,000 inhabitants, you have all the amenities you need here along with bus routes to Granada/Jaen and Cordoba.
Located on the south east side of Cordoba you are only 1hr and 30 minutes from both Malaga and Granada in each direction it is also surrounded by beautiful subbetica villages like Carcabuey, El Canuelo, Fuente Tojar, Zamoranos, Castil de Campos, El Poleo, Las Higueras, Zagrilla Baja/Alta and many more.
