Alcaudete is one of the many interesting towns in the province of Jaen. It is one of those towns that you can see from miles away, the castle and church perched on a hill are floodlit at night, a welcoming sight if Alcaudete is your destination. It´ is almost equidistant from Cordoba and Granada at around 1 hour 15 minutes and it´s a scenic one hour 45 minute drive from Malaga airport.
 
The town is on two of Andalucia´’s cultural routes; Route of the Caliphate (Ruta del Califato) and Route of the Castles (Ruta de los Castillos y las Batallas,) following these is a great way to learn about the history of the area.
