Main information
According to some investigations, in the year 1487 King Ferdinand the Catholic left Antequera with his troops for the conquest of Velez-Malaga, divided into two fronts. One of which, commanded by the King himself, chose the path that passed through La Fuente de la Lana (Fountain of the Wool); the other front, captained by the Marquis of Cadiz, passed through Trabuco itself.
